Following the provision of a free Wi-Fi Hotspot and Walesi TV at the Nadi, Namaka, Suva and Labasa markets, the Ba market now has access to a free Wi-Fi hotspot and Walesi TV after the launch by Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum yesterday (3/12/22).
This is part of the Fijian Government’s $14.6m budget that was allocated to Walesi to fund the completion of the country’s digital switchover project, as well as the continuation of installing free Wi-Fi hotspot access and community connectivity to Walesi TV.
The A-G highlighted that progressively more municipal markets and public spots will have free Wi-Fi hotspots and Walesi TV to allow Fijians access to e-services, information and entertainment.
